In KZN we have approximately 200 principals on this two year course. There has been positive growth and principals feel this course has empowered them. They now want to avail their expertise to help others in their districts.

Hi Coleagues

I am in Gauteng and thus  may not directly answering your question. However I know few principals in Gauteng who are part of the ACE programme as well, I can provide the link to some of them via this forum to discuss and share with you their expirience from this side. Further to this there are groups of principlas in one district I know who hold at least one meeting a month and share the ACE and other strategic information in school management. I believe that if this process can start in a district just with a few principals, it will have a greater impact than a formally arranged departmental process. Peers sharing thier expiriences and learning from another is more greater than any class of theory.

Leonard Nimoy said 'The miracle is this: the more we share the more we have'. To establish such networks in the various districts are great! Thank you to all the participating principals and their lecturers!
