Practical investigations are good.

The problem or the unfair part of it is when we assess our learners with a rubric with reference to thge following:

1. group work

2.write up skills

3.manupulative skills/ procedural skills

4.observations

5.results

6.interpretations

7.conclusions

Let us destribute marks according to the above and set up a rubric.

As curriculum requires expanded opportunities, teachers have to understand the importance of practical activities in their lesson plans and yearly planning so to cover all learner’s abilities and to also use different assessment criterias when assessing this learners so i agree to the point of saying assessment criteria should be in line with the relevant assessment standarts so as to achieve the aimed Learning Outcomes
