Provincial Environmental Education (EE) Seminar
A successful seminar was held in Polokwane organised by the Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism which focussed exclusively on environmental education. The topics discussed were:

  • How can indigineous knowledge systems be used as a tool for environmental education
  • How to develop, manage and run environmental education programmes and activities in EE centres
  • Inclusion of people living with disabilities in EE programmes and activities
  • How can environmental education officers design programmes to support implementation of environmental focus in the current curriculum
