Ten weekly units of FUN WITH WORDS have been developed according to the guidelines set out in the WCED Home Language Work Schedule (Grade 4)
Each week’s unit includes a weekly planner, a note to educators, a memorandum and, where appropriate, flash cards and assessment rubrics.
Children learn through play; so many concepts are practised by means of fun activities such as crossword puzzles, word searches, etc.
These may be completed in class or as homework activities.
Links to useful websites e.g. media clips, interactive games and exercises, etc. are indicated on the weekly planner. |
