PAT constitute 25% of the final promotion mark. It is thus important that it is given the necessary time and commitment it deserves. The first term is almost over, teachers need to look at their pace setters or the pace setter given in the PAT Guideline Document to make sure that learners are not lacking behind. Assessment of PAT is not a once off that takes place at the beginning of the fourth but it should be continous as a developmental process. Learners need to be guided so that they are not off the track. I am anticipating that there could be challenges as this is new to all of us but we will never know your challenges unless you share it with us. We need to share our experiences and challenges so that we can be able to assist each other. I hope that we all all benefit from this forum.
