BCM: Business Studies I agree with your statement that brainstorming and creative thinking can be a useful tool when teaching the topic of Swot analysis. I also find that using creative problem solving techniques such as Provocation in most of the Business Studies topics can be very rewarding and create a large amount of interest and critical thinking amongst the learners. I find this tool especially useful when dealing with the topic of personnel and recruitment as many learners struggle to conceptualize the fact that their own work ethic and behaviour in the Business Studies class relates to employment factors. This tool gets the learners to think and interpret the qualities that they, as future employers of South Africa, will find valuable and look for.

BCM: Business Studies Critical thinking in the school environment is very important but how do you get the unmotivated learners to partisipate? In business studies they learn through experiance and participation, aswell as group work and research. I know the learners have to give there opinions but some of the learners don't partisipate and feel cornered when you ask them questions. What can I do to get them more motivatede?

Content for Civil Technology learners need to have clear knoweledge of identifying the problem. they should make analyis as how and where the bilding project would be done. learners must also discuss the position and seletion of place. learners must also identify and discuss the roles of the members who will be forming a team project.

Re: BCM: Business Studies I agree with you, because since getting a job is a problem in our country is a problem, one need to choose carreers that will at the end of the day end up having nothing to do. so I strongly advice those who are still deciding to choose a carreer to choose business studies as one of their subjects.

Re: BCM: Business Studies After analysing the subject business studies to my learner, I have realise that there are entrepreneurs of tomorrow amongst them. Some of them (learner), they have started selling some sweets simbas etc in school for them to practice some business skills e.g management/ operation skill, atleast so far they do not give their friends for free instead they will wait for them to come and buy.
